Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) by Aaron F — 15 Jun 2009
So-so prequel to the successful 2003 remake. This is supposed to explain why Leatherface is the way he is,but I thinks he's scarier when he just a crazy fuck with a chainsaw who seems to be retarded.
Here he seems way too macho, like a moody teenager or something.I love R Lee Ermey as much as the next guy,but there was too much of his character and not enough Leatherface. They throw in a vietnam vet character who never really does anything,so that seems like a wasted opportunity.
Skippable.
