Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) by Brent N — 30 Dec 2010
This movie could've been really really good. Unfortunately it gives little to no back story of Leatherface's childhood, the victims are pretty dull, and the ending is a little hard to believe. However there is a good amount of gore, a beginning that will please any gore hound, Leatherface still rips shit up with a chainsaw, and R.
Ermey is just awesome. My second favorite Chainsaw Massacre film. A film that definitely crippled the one strong thing it had going for it and spends the rest of the movie trying to make it up.
