Exactly as the critical consensus says, this is barely coherent and harks back to the '70s-'90s terrible installments of this franchise which, for some reason or another, are still not dead and buried if the upcoming 3D sequel is anything to go by (and it probably isn't, but even still).
Typical redneck horror trash with loads of gore to boot, but nothing to make up for it.
