Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) by Wes S — 12 Oct 2012
It works as a prequel but doesn't lead up to much for the 2003 remake. Only small bits of unimportant things are revealed, but we do get to see some of Leatherface's back story. There's lots of gruesome kills and plenty of gore, and scenes I felt should of been worked into the 2003 film did show up in this one.
The characters are alright, but the eventually you get bored with the chasing and unsuccessful scares that you end up just waiting for everyone to die. It's worth a check for TCSM fans.
