The odd thing is that the camera work is good because it was done by Daniel Pearl, who did the original. This may have worked as the 5th TCM but to release this crap and call it a remake, like you're putting an extra coat of paint on the classic and superior original is a huge mistake.
Eric Balfour is a terrible actor, nice mustache dude. Leatherface without his mask was pathetic. The kid from the Ring was completely laughable. I don't like this Leatherface much either. Oh and Jessica Biel is a terrible actress too.
Marilyn Burns she isn't.
