Prolly the best scary movie i've ever seen... but I gotta add that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is LOOSELY based on Ed Gein a serial killer in Wisconsin. The film clip in the movie is NOT REAL! Those events never happened.
Ed Gein is also represented in Silence of the Lambs and Psycho. He was mainly a grave robber who sewed body parts together to make lampshades, body suits, etc. There was no family in Texas and no chainsaw.
