Horror remakes usually border between awful and stale. But! This one made me jump! The Texas Chainsaw Massacre made me jump not once but twice and I never jump at horror movies. Creepy and twisted in a relentless way which feeds on the fear! The Texas Chainsaw Massacre strongest scariest vibe is the believability.
They made the film as if it could have happened. It has a message about minding ones business in it. Strong film. 4 stars.
