Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) by Carlos S — 09 Sep 2008
After the first film, I was expecting something different. Its made by the same people, but it couldn't be more different. Where the first film was harrowing, this is funny, where the gore in the first was implied, this hits you round the head with big wet pieces of bloody flesh.
If it wasn't for Hopper and Moseley, this would be a total dud... having said that, the gore is very good, Savini did a great job here. Don't expect what you saw in the first, but an enjoyable horror comedy.
