Review of The Terminal (2004) by Tina A — 24 Jan 2012
As what the movie poster for 'The Terminal' says, life is waiting. This describes the story of Victor Navorski, who already fled his (fictional) homeland of Krakozhia, fallen to a coup and war, and with no valid citizenship, he resides at New York's JFK International Airport for months.
With a can of peanuts brought in with him, Victor only came to visit New York City for jazz. It's an interesting drama film, and I liked how Tom Hanks spoke in an impressive Eastern European accent both in English and in a Slavic language.
Of course, if air delays wear you out, then 'The Terminal' is your ticket to your silver screen. Enjoy.
