The year was 2002. I saw this for $5 at the Gadsden K-Mart. I'd never seen a Polanski film, but I'd heard his name and was a growing film lover. So I made a blind buy. And I have loved this ever since.
The dub job is pretty displeasing, but all the pros outweigh that small problem. Cast is divine, with Polanski starring and noteworthy performances by Isabelle Adjani and Shelly Winters. Cinematography by Sven Nykvist. Yee haw!
I still haven't read the novel by Roland Topor, a fella I love, so I reckon I need to get on that.
