Review of The Tenant (1976) by Faby T — 16 Sep 2009
This movie is an example of great performance in which the protagonist himslef is driven crazy by the apartment in which he lives in and the routine he's living everyday. Polanski itself did a great job as both actor and director crating claustrophic atmosphere, fascinating nightmare and hallucinations such as the last scene in the "theatre balcony". He reminds me Norman Bates and his obsession, and is this idea of conspirancy that starts this journat in Trelkovsky's mind.
Amazing job.
