Review of The Ten Commandments (1956) by Yertle T — 29 May 2009
A series of cheesy tableaux theatrically lit; stilted in nearly every way and overwrought in the acting department, with De Mille lording it over things as the God-like narrator, and yet this magnum opus is in many ways the apex of DeMille's art.
I kind of love the shit out of it.
