Review of The Ten Commandments (1956) by Patrick A — 24 Jan 2012
Retelling the story of Moses' life in film form is very good for its historical value. This biblical figure, raised by the Egyptians, discovers his Hebrew identity, challenges pharaoh Rameses rule, and leads his fellow slaves to cross the Red Sea.
More importantly, God gives Moses 10 commandments, or the biblical laws written on stone tablets. This quote from Moses is very memorable: "Let my people go." And he did. Good job acting as Moses, Charlton Heston.
Whether you're religious, spiritual, or nonreligious, go ahead and enjoy the story of 'The Ten Commandments', one of the best movies ever.
