Review of The Ten (2007) by Sara H — 20 Mar 2008
There were a lot of A-list and semi-known actors present for such a goofy movie. Many times it left me wondering how in the world they convinced people of such integrity to do some of the skits they did.
The comedy is mostly pretty mindless, kinda like Airplane! gags. It doesn't really work as a movie though. Maybe it could have on some cable skit show. Paul Rudd and Famke Jansson's scenes were probably the best, but they usually existed in this weird transitional narration world.
There were many times I busted out laughing, but there is definitely a lack of quality and class. Favorite commandment skit: covet thy neighbor's wife / prison romance.
