I really liked this movie even tho so much of it was in Japanese and I dont know Japanese. I liked Marlon Brando in the role of the interpreter and I wonder if he actually learned Japanese for this part.
I also like Glenn Ford. and who knew that Eddie Albert would go on to do Green Acres...probably he came to mind for that role because of his role in this movie! hahahah! I like the gentle Japanese culture.
the elegance of their art and I think that came thru in this movie.
