Review of The Tattooist (2007) by Mike C — 20 Apr 2010

I really enjoyed this movie. I found it in my roommate's collection and was intrigued because I had never heard of it before. The tattoo artwork in the movie is beautiful and I liked how they incorporated tatau.

At first, I thought it was going to be about a tattoo artist who goes berserk, kills people, and then tattoos them as his trademark. I was surprised that this wasn't the case. I liked the whole idea of using ancient spirits as somewhat of the villains instead of a straight-up killer.
