Review of The Tall T (1957) by Ben B — 16 Jun 2010
The villains were wonderfully psychopathic and portrayed well by Boone and Silva, the use of the expansive locale was impressive, as was Boetticher's shot choices and Scott, even though he is a poor man's John Wayne, eventually won me over.
However for all the hype and recent champion of Budd Boetticher, I wasn't blown away. It's basically a well crafted B Western.
