Tom Ripley: I know. I'm lost, too. I'm going to be stuck in the basement, aren't I, that's my, that's my... terrible, and alone, and dark, and I've lied about who I am, and where I am, and now no-one will ever find me.
The Talented Mr. Ripley is one of the most shocking and interesting thrillers I've seen. Matt Damon is at one of his best points here and creates sympathy for his unsettling character. A dark yet beautiful film.
