Review of The Tale of Despereaux (2008) by Bernard T — 07 May 2009
This is a poor movie, and its such a shame given all the voice talents on show. Broderick, Hoffman, Emma Watson, Tracey Ullman, Kevin Kline etc. But it fails because the plot is poor. The story does not hang together and it had no redeeming features.
No comedic moments, no heart warming moments, nothing. Well Despereaux looks cute with the big eyes and Jumbo type ears.
