Review of The Tale of Despereaux (2008) by Jordan B — 19 Aug 2009
This was a cute movie, and a definitely star-studded cast, but I couldn't help but feel they were trying too hard to make it epic. Also, call me picky, but I couldn't handle Matthew Broderick's voice as Despereaux.
I mean, the mouse is supposed to be in primary school, and he has a middle-aged man voice. DisTRACTing!! I would, however, very much like to live in a town that memorializes soup in such a way as the town in the movie!
