Review of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974) by Richard W — 22 Jul 2007
Great stuff. Gritty, funny, masterful performance from Robert Shaw, beautifully balanced by Matthau's sour faced cynicism. Every bit as gripping as peers such as Dog Day Afternoon, and it wrote the book for later efforts such as Spike Lee's "Inside Man.
