Review of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974) by Kristal C — 10 Aug 2008
I haven't watched this movie in years but I was reminded of it when reading about the Tony Scott/Denzel remake that is coming out soon. This is one of my Dad's favourite movies and I have great memories of staying up late with him as a kid watching this on tv.
This is a thriller where the old, mean New York of the '70s is one of the main characters; I just can't picture it being made today. I urge everyone to track this version down before wasting your money on what is sure to be a terrible remake.
