Review of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974) by Craig G — 20 Jun 2009
A solid gritty 70's New York crime film in the vein of Dog Day Afternoon and the French Connection. Really manages to capture the place and time. Robert Shaw was a force to reckon with, and his performance pulsates with a cool and collected firmness.
Captivating stuff.
