Intense. This movie didn't come off as cheesy in any way (which usually happens over time)... Walter Matthau was great (as usual) as Lt. Garber. His acting came across as more subtle and natural...
I hate how people these days seem to figure that "over-acting" = good acting, there's a line... Robert Shaw did an awesome job at being the cold/withdrawn killer that is Mr. Blue... I loved the script, it didn't go off the deep end with obscenities to prove that the characters were "evil" or whatever.
.. there's a lot I can say about this but I can't think straight.
