Review of The Taking of Deborah Logan (2014) by David V — 24 Oct 2014
Another found footage film that differs from most with a refreshingly new story. The Taking of Deborah Logan comes equipped with various scenes to frighten those vulnerable to it's plot development.
It's definitely one of the few within it's genre that pulled me in and will not soon be forgotten despite the clichés that come with the majority of found footage movies that take full capability of using sound as it's main source of increased heart rate.
What makes this film different is it's use of skin deep shrills with a script that is interesting and convincing through certain moments that make you want to convince yourself that what you're witnessing is more than a movie.
That in itself makes a truly original creation worth taking a peek at if you care to activate your unsettling senses in more than one way.
