Review of The Tailor of Panama (2001) by Ed B — 08 Mar 2008
The tongue-in-cheek style is almost pulled off by the quality of the cast, but ultimately John Boorman's direction doesn't do the plot justice. Thought the style empasisies the humanity of the protagonists, eventually it feels overly superficial.
A shame, given the quality of the material.
