Tatsuya Nakadai is one of the greatest actors of all time. Toshiro Mifune and him tie for the best in my opinion. Yeah, pretty dark, twisted, and highly addictive, entertaining action drama. This movie was going to be a trilogy so it ends awkwardly, but still.
The main character is so nihilistic, twisted, and plain evil. It's great.
