This film was based on a 41-volume novel, and it shows. There are an abundance of names, including at least 4 devoted to the same character. By the time you can successfully identify the main characters, the film ends, but not before a sword fight unrivaled in the confusion department which leaves everyone hanging for the two sequels that were never filmed.

This review of The Sword of Doom (1966) was written by on 07 Jan 2008.

The Sword of Doom has generally received very positive reviews.
