Review of The Sword of Doom (1966) by Richard O — 12 Jul 2008
A great samurai epic taking plcae during the end of the Shogunate period. Ryunosuke Tatsue is a man who, lives for nothing but the sword, and the unsatisfiable lust for blood. The swordplay is fantastic, and the acting phenomenal.
The only bad aspect is the ending, for which a trilogy of films were planned but never brought to fruition. Still worth checking out.
