Review of The Sword in the Stone (1963) by Andreas O — 29 Nov 2011
One of my favourites as a kid, but this one, I find, hasn't aged as well as many other Disney movies. While still a good film, with some great characters, nice morals and a few memorable scenes (the wizard's duel is still awesome), it's also fairly laid-back and not as compelling as you might hope.
It's a movie aimed mainly at a younger audience, and it shows. Still, as I said, it's a fun and worthwhile piece - but honestly, was Arthur always this annoying?
