Review of The Switch (2010) by Bob S — 22 Apr 2012
This film brings an original story to screen, but doesn't deliver with the whole package. Aniston and Bateman star as best friends, Kassie and Wally - Kassie's looking for a sperm donor to be artificially inseminated and Wally doesn't agree with her plan.
Aniston and Bateman never have the chemistry to pull off a friendship worth fighting for, or pursuing something further, no less. Goldblumâ??s supporting performance is the best part of the movie as they were the only times I really laughed in what was supposed to be a romantic comedy.
Wally's relationship with Kassieâ??s son is touching, but I found all the subplots involving her son to be quite unrealistic.
