Review of The Switch (2010) by Jason T — 20 Jan 2013
Okay, I don't care about what people have said about this movie, because this is one of the best comedies since The Hangover, not the best and not even slightly to be so good as The Hangover, but I just loved it, I usually don't love romantic comedies, but I didn't like this movie because of the romance, I loved it becuase it's very funny, it has one of the most clever storie for comedy movies since The Hangover and it's entartaing, Jennifer Aniston is good in this movie and Jason Bateman too and Jeff Goldblum and Juliette Lewis are also pretty hilarious.
One of the reasons of making me watch this movie, or perhaps the only one, was that Aniston and Bateman were on it, two of my favorite comedy actors, other reason was that Josh Gordon and Will Speck directed the movie, they are not to known directors, but remeber, they have directed Blades of Glory, a hilarious comedy, sow I had to watch this movie, I really thought I was going to loved it, and I was, but I can't say that I was surprised, or I probably was, but who knows, I wood just like to say that this is a great comedy, about Wally Mars (Jason Bateman) and his best friend Kassie (Jennifer Aniston).
Kassie announces to Wally that she wants to have a baby, but not in the regular way, sow she looks for a sperm doner, Roland (Patrick Wilson), but when every thing is set up, Wally accidently goes to a bathroom tottally drunk, he switches the sperm by his.
After a big hangover, Kassie announces him that she is going away from New York, and seven years later, she comes bak with her seven year old son Sebastian (Thomas Robinson) and Wally starts to discover some weird similliar things about him and then he tells his friend Leonard (Jeff Goldblum) what happened and he certanly reminds of what happened seven years ago, he stays pretty nervous about it and actually starts to think that Sebastion loves him, but he will still have to tell Kassie every thing.
Pretty good story, right, I tottally recommend this movie, I've seen it more than once, if you are looking for a great rom-com, this is not what you are looking for, but if you are looking for a relaxing, hilarious, entartaing and fun comedy to watch, you do have to see this.
