Review of The Swimmer (1968) by Matt W — 22 Jan 2009
This is a very bizarre existentialist movie about the collapse of a man and his journey (via swimming pools) to the final truth. I saw this a million years ago and still remember it vividly. Lancaster is still one of America's great actors.
Pairing this with a more modern Atlantic City will show you the depth of his ability.
