The sweetest thing about The Sweetest Thing is the just the fun the girls have in this movie. You seriously wish you could be friends with Cameron, Selma and Christina too. Besides that the movie kinda sucks.
There is no real plot except that Christina Walters has had lousy relationships and after briefly meeting this guy at a club and having a sex dream about him decides to go on this road trip with her best friend to find him.
Now this could have been a road trip movie but that part of the film only lasts maybe a half an hour. It seems the writer couldnâ??t decide if she wanted this to be a romantic comedy, a buddy flick or a road trip movie.
Since no genre is specifically chosen then the story does not feel fully form hence the film seems to lack direction. I love these girls to death and the films got star powers for days but with no storyâ?¦you ainâ??t as sweet as you could be.
