Review of The Sweetest Thing (2002) by Bryan W — 22 Jul 2010
It's hard to imagine any romantic comedy being as mind-numbingly unoriginal as this one. With cardboard characters, direct clippings from better movies ('When Harry Met Sally' wants its interviews back), and paper-thin motivations for the lame gross-out gags pasted together with the pretense of a plot, they might as well have made the film a diorama that wouldn't waste 90 minutes of your time and that you could set on fire after you were done looking at it.
