Review of The Sweet Hereafter (1997) by Codie E — 30 Nov 2008
A haunting and perfectly judged film. Egoyan masterfully sets the mood up for the film and stands back as a director to allow the brilliant script to shine through. The way the events of the film effect the town are beautifully offset against Ian Holm's outsider and the problems he faces in his own life.
