Review of The Sweet Hereafter (1997) by Rocchina D — 17 Apr 2009
I don't know how many times I will have to watch this movie in order to understand it. However, I really like the way this movie was made. The only other Egoyan movie I have seen is Ararat, which is way more obvious a film (although similarly made, I think) and Sweet Hereafter impressed me much more.
I think it is interesting the way the literary/novelistic aspects come through in the film.
