If I had to pin down one movie as my favorite as it, this would probably be it. It's a stunning mix of tragedy, empathy, complexity, and fantastic film making. It gets better every time I watch it, and I've probably seen it 20 times.
Plus, Ian Holm's performance is an all time great.
