After a second viewing, I enjoyed this movie so much more. I guess my body can't handle staying up for the midnight previews anymore. It isn't the most elaborate of plots, but it has enough to satisfy its audience.
Mario / Nintendo fans will love this movie. Easter eggs a plenty. I consider myself a casual Nintendo fan from the mid 80s. Plenty for me to pick up on. The voice acting worked for the story. Looking forward to future installments.
There are a mid and post credit scenes.
