Ok, the screenplay is as basic as it can be, and it has some very childish moments, but come on, what did you expect from a Super Mario Bros movie? I think the concept of the old games was translated very well into the narrative, and the animation is amazing.

Of course, this is a dream come true for anyone who played Mario in the 90s. Funny movie with lots of easter eggs for you to look for.
