This movie is as stripped down in film making as humanly possible. Considering it's based on a stage play, it essentially is a filmed performance. Two quality actors (Tommy Lee Jones & Samuel L.
Jackson) just going to town on these rich, full of depth characters. The whole film is essentially a long conversation that rolls from the serious to the funny back to serious seamlessly.
