Review of The Sum of All Fears (2002) by Robert D — 05 Jun 2012
"The Sum of All Fears" scores some points for being a sort of realistic James Bond type thriller. True to its title, the subject matter is truly frightening in today's climate. There are some moments where we have to suspend disbelief which is a shame because the movie strives for such a realistic tone.
Then, there is Ben Affleck with his smirky grin who is extremely miscast. One misses Harrison Ford from the previous Tom Clancy novels turned movies.
