Review of The Sugarland Express (1974) by Stephen G — 08 Apr 2008
It's pretty neat to see all of Spielberg's trademark theme's and visual style in their embryonic forms. However, not even Steven Spielberg can get his character's Texas' accents correct.
They are somewhat grating. But its obvious from this being his first feature, that he was always going to be one of the best directors of all time.
