One of Spielberg's first films is a fun, entertaining road movie. That's all it is though. It doesn't nearly reach the height he goes to as a filmmaker later on in the 90s, but from an action perspective, you can see he's building some trademarks here.
Goldie Hawn is also fun to watch.
