If white stuff starts flowing from the ground in a quarry, everyone's first instinct is to eat it...right? The Stuff knows it is stupid but has fun doing it. The mixing of the commercials for The Stuff with the story helps but the movie gets a little too over-the-top when they introduce Paul Sorvino's militia of army men.
A trendy yogurt that helps you lose weight still would catch on today. The movie has some interesting effects and some completely fall flat. Not quite so bad it is good, but close.
