I'll admit when I first seen the trailer I was nervous because the way it was edited made the movie look bad but the movie was pretty solid. Now was it as good as the first no but it wasn't to far behind.

The plot was simple crazy people chasing people until they kill them. the acting was decent enough . The movie took place at night so the look of the film wasn't eye popping but it really didn't need to be.

What I did enjoy the most about this movie is its not over done with cgi( which you do need some time but not in this movie) or haunted houses or devils and demons or really even gore yes the movie does indeed have blood but its not splashing all over the place.

.This movie had a few scary parts but what gets this movie over is the strange and erie feeling the entire movie has and the fact that killers toy with their prey before killing them dosen't always work but I do enjoy the cat and mouse like chase scenes.

the movie is just different from all the other new age horror movies which in my opinion tend to suck..Strangers 2 was good enough for me to 1) rewatch part 1 and 2) as long as the writers keep it fresh I'd like to see another movie just don't wait ten years in between movies also i'd like to see an origin story dealing more with the killers themselves .

So if you liked the first movie then should enjoy this movie as well this one has more action.
