Review of The Stranger (2010) by Sean C — 03 Aug 2010
GRRRR...it's Steve 'Stone Cold' Austin doing what he does best...beating people up. Director Robert Lieberman plays to the big man's strengths and ensures that anything in the way of acting is left to a minimal weighing that responsibility on co-star Erica Cerra instead.
Standard 'loss of memory' plot isnt too badly handled and fair game for trying to add the odd twist or two when it's all pretty much guessable from the start. The opening sequences are muddled and it takes awhile for everything to settle and allow the star to get his shirt off at least twice.
..completely braindead action fun.
