Review of The Straight Story (1999) by Tim L — 13 Mar 2016
A really warm, gentle and touching film that is very different from what I'm used to from David Lynch's 'usual' nightmarish surreal worlds, but equally great. Whilst many might struggle with the slower pace, personally I loved it.
Some wonderful performances, gorgeous cinematography and beautiful music from Angelo Badalamenti. Well worth seeing on a wiped out Sunday.
