I get it, it is a character Study of A.J., who is just too thin a character to study. He has that kind of dry, deadpan humor. He is played by Kunal Nayyar, who acts all bland and passive, like he doesn’t know he is the main character.
A more charismatic and spotlight-stealing actor would do the character justice.
