Review of Blonde Crazy (1931) by Dq S — 19 Nov 2015
The attraction here is the chance to see a very young Cagney, Blondell, and even younger Ray Milland. Unfortunately, the hackneyed script and pure direction make these three stars seem like jewels lost in a gravel pile.
Don't get me wrong, it's fun to see, but not worth so much praise. Save your enthusiasm for Footlight Parade-a far superior Cagney/Blondell feature.
